(The impact of the participatory reading strategy on understanding the reading texts of fourth grade students and developing their logical thinking).

The researchers followed the experimental design of the two experimental and control groups. The researchers chose the fourth grade students from the Ibn Khaldoun Preparatory School for boys. The research sample consists  of (53) students divided into two experimental groups. The first group consists of (27) students practicing the participatory reading strategy. The second group included 26 students who were taught in the usual way.The researchers prepared a test for reading comprehension, which included (34) test paragraphs of a multi-choice type measuring the three processes of reading comprehension. The test, furthermore, verified the validity, difficulty, and ease of its paragraphs and stability.  The second tool was the logical thinking test whose final version consists of (20) items.  The honesty, excellence and consistency of this test is already measured. After completing the experiment, the researchers applied the research tools (the post-reading comprehension test and the post-logical thinking experiment) at the two research groups
