Social Values among Arabs before Islam: Generosity as a Model

Abstract

The scholars were interested in Arab history before Islam because of its virtuous social values, and these values had a great role in organizing their lives until they took the place of religion or law.

The most important thing that the Arabs were famous of before Islam is generosity until it became an identity that distinguishes them from other nations.

The research aims at studying this phenomenon and its motives and impact in society as well as the most prominent personalities known for generosity.
