Abstract

There have been revolutions in the Arab world called the Arab Spring. It is a huge peaceful protest movement launched in some Arab countries at the end of 2010 and early 2011, starting with the outbreak of the Tunisian revolution that succeeded in overthrowing President Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, followed by the outbreaks of revolutions in Egypt, Yemen, Libya, Bahrain and Syria. The main causes of the revolutions were the spread of corruption, economic stagnation, poor living conditions and unemployment, as well as the rigging and lack of integrity of the elections, and the political tightening of the ruling regimes on the people. It is a step towards a comprehensive change in the reality of .dictatorships.The research aims at demonstrating the role of the international and regional forces that have emerged in supporting revolutions and counter-revolutions. Their vision of enhancing the power of the ruling regimes against the protesters has also increased. Some of these forces have strengthened their media support for the protesters against the regimes in the Arabian region in particular and the Middle East in general by influencing the course of the revolutionary process and democratic transformation sought by the powers of the West.
