The Effect of the Karen model on the development of geographic skills among students in the fifth grade

Abstract

    The research aimed at identifying the effect of the Karen model on the development of geographic skills in the fifth grade students. The researcher chose the directorate of Salah al-Din and Al-Ishaqi Secondary School for Boys to apply the experiment. The sample consisted of 67 students randomly distributed into two groups, one as experimental group and the other as a control group. For examining the development of geographic skills, the researcher used many statistical methods such as T-test for two independent samples. The results showed that the students of the experimental group were superior to the students of the control group.
