Abstract

The study aimed at

1- Identifying the level of pivotal thinking among secondary school students.

2- Building an educational program that is based on the theory of Tony Buzan to develop some of the skills of central thinking to the students of secondary school.

3- recognizing the effectiveness of the educational program based on the theory of Tony Buzan in the development of some skills of thinking pivotal students in the preparatory stage and derived from the following assumptions:

1- There are no statistically significant differences between the average of scores for both the experimental group (males and females) in the pre-post and post-primary tests for the level of pivotal thinking among secondary school students.

2- There were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the control group (males and females) in the pre-post and post-secondary tests for the level of pivotal thinking among secondary school students.

3- There are no statistically significant differences in the scores of the experimental group (males) in the pre and post tests in the level of pivotal thinking among secondary school students.

4- There were no significant statistical differences in the scores of the controlling group (males) in the pre and post-secondary tests in the level of pivotal thinking among secondary school students.

5- There are no statistically significant differences in the scores of the experimental group (females) in pre and post-secondary tests in the level of pivotal thinking among secondary school students.

6- There are no significant differences in the scores of the experimental group (males) and the average of the experimental group (female) in the post-test in the level of pivotal thinking among secondary school students.

The researcher has constructed the tools of the study, which is a measure of pivotal thinking which consists of (39) position. By the students' response, the level of pivotal thinking is measured. The researcher has extracted the psychometric characteristics of the scale such as truth and stability. ) 0.78 Degree.

As for the second tool, the researcher has prepared an educational program that is based on the theory of Tony Buzan which is (15) lesson  of (45) minutes, which is the lessons and independent activities of the curriculum that is extracted the apparent honesty of the educational program and presented to a group of experts and specialists. The percentage is (100%).

The results show the following:

1- There are statistically significant differences between the average of scores of the experimental group (males and females) in the pre-post and post-test for the post-test.

2- There are no statistically significant differences between the scores of the controlling group (males and females) in the pre-post and post-pivotal levels of thinking.

3- There are statistically significant differences in the scores of the experimental group (males) in the pre and post tests at the level of pivotal thinking for post-test.

4- There are no statistically significant differences in the scores of the controlling group (males) in the pre and post tests at the level of pivotal thinking.

5- There are statistically significant differences in the scores of the experimental group (females) in the pre and post tests at the level of pivotal thinking for the post-test.
