Educational behavior and its relation to self-egulation when teaching basic education

Abstract

The study is aimed at the realization of teachers' classroom educational performance at the basic schools in Erbil city; also,it is to the identification of the relationship between teachers' educational performance and personality according to the male-female and years of service.


The study is limited to the teachers of social sciences module of the seventh grades in Erbil city in 2017-2018. The descriptive approach is conducted in the process of writing, in which the participants are the in-service teachers of socialsciences of the seventh grades. The number of the participants are two hundred teachers of basic schools in Erbil city, the tools are designed to A- Measure the educational behaviour, it is relied on (Alahmedi. 2005), it consists of 47 items of five different topics; B-to measure the teachers' personality that relied on the (Alaithawi, 2014) in which it consists of 36 items. The face validity is achieved, since the tools were subjected to the corrections and changes made by some experts and scholars of the education research. The reliability of both of the tools is achieved and measured   by the Pearson correlations, the reliability of the of the educational performancetool is 0,81 and the personality tool.
