Abstract

The contributions of the Mesopotamia at the emergence of the modern geographical schools (a study at the Geopolitics)


During the modern era, several geographical schools have tried to clarify the relationship between man and the environment. Despite the differences of views between these schools, we follow the geographical ideas that came to them. It is not recent, but rather an extension of the geopolitical ideas in ancient civilizations, and the Mesopotamia is the place where these ideas emerged. This is what was revealed by the study through dealing with the contribution of Mesopotamia to the emergence of modern geographical schools.         A study at the Geopolitics, Mesopotamia civilization, spatial schools.
