The impact of the guidance program in enhancing the marital compatibility of the students of the Faculty of Education

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of acounseling program on enhancing Marital Adjustment.for Students at the College of Education The sample includes (16) poet students from the third year in the depf , of Psychology, college of Education, university of Mosul. These students do not have Marital Adjustment according to a define te scale  ; their scores on the have been computed as pre-test scores. The subjects of the sample have been divided into two groups. Students in the first group (experimental) have the chance of training on(12 )meetings of through group counseling  , while the (control) group don’t have any training. Using wilcoxon test for two correlated samples  and man-Whitney test for two independent samples, the results showed significant statistical difference for the benefit of the experimental group at (0.05) level of significance since the students trained on counseling way. In the light of the results, some recommendations and suggestions have been presented.
