Abstract

The Seljuks appeared in Mesopotamia at the beginning of their history. They had no role in the political life of their region and were not obedient to the Sultan or Emir of Turk. They appeared at a time when the Emirate of the Bohayyans was weakened. The time of the fifth century AH Seljuk star began to rise and took the expansion at the expense of neighboring areas, the Seljuks since 420 AH / 1029 AD has been expanding, especially in the northern and north-eastern regions of Persia and have collided with the Sultan Ghazni Mahmoud many times
