Abstract

The current research aims to identify (the effect of the strategy of self-questioning in the achievement of intermidiatesecond-grade students in history and the development of reasoning ) to achieve the goal of the research researcher put the research hypotheses and the current research was limited to students in the intermidiate second grade in Salah al-Din / Tikrit village Alboujail for the academic year 2015 (201). The researcher adopted the experimental design of the two equal groups and chose the school deliberately. The sample consisted of (79) students who were divided into a group of 37 students who studied by self-questioning strategy and a group of 37 students studied by other method
