Abstract

The Bank of England is one of the oldest financial institutions in the world. The idea of its creation came in the late 17th century, which was the beginning of major global events, which included increasing colonialism in European countries, especially Britain, which began to turn from its traditional pattern of agriculture and trade to the industry that needs Large capital and outlets to market their products. This expansionist trend was also accompanied by long and bloody international conflicts that required more financial support, which until then had been difficult to obtain.
