The role of small industries in achieving sustainable development In Erbil

Abstract

Small industry is considered one of the most important components of economical foundations which has a significant role in developing the economy of the countries, whether in developing countries. This kind of industry makes more than 90% of the economy of the world’s countries. These countries take this kind of industry into consideration because it is the cornerstone of development for every country and it influences the social and economic aspects. It also leads to the increase of general income and living standards. In this research, we tried to shed light on the role and influence of small industries on sustainable development in Erbil governorate, and showing the outstanding obstacles these industries face,. We also highlighted the role of small industry in decreasing unemployment; we relied on many governmental sources to get data.
