Abstract

The correct quote in which its sources are referred to is a matter of self-evident and even necessary for the accumulation of cognitive and scientific experiences in various sciences and from one generation to the next. However, the incorrect quote is considered an uncommon matter in the scientific circles, past and present, as it is a form of plagiarism,  namely scientific one.

The focus of this research is on the incorrect quotation in texts of hermeneutics of the Holy Qur’an, which exists in less relation to the rest of the other sciences.  The effects of these quotes are clear in a sense that they  break down the pillars of  other sciences and branches of knowledge. Furthermore, they delay generations, peoples and nations in achieving their share of knowledge and civilizational progress in the humanitarian history .
