Iranian Foreign Policy Trends Towards the Arab Region in the African Continent

Abstract

The research is interested in studying the Iranian trends towards the Arab region within the African continent, and its importance lies in knowing the nature of those trends, starting points and foundations adopted by the Iranian foreign policy towards the Arab region in the African continent and the importance of these starting points in drawing Iranian foreign policy in succession. The research aims at knowing the dimensions of Iranian foreign policy and the extent of the results and gains achieved, and their repercussions on the reality of Arab-Iranian relations, especially the Arab countries within the African continent, and whether they had positive effects or the opposite? . The research attempted to pursuit the course of Iranian trends towards the African continent in general as an entry point to find out the extent of Iranian interest in the Arab African region, and the factors that contributed to attracting Iran to the African continent. The topic was addressed through Iran's attention in the African continent during the royal era.  The main points of view adopted by the Iranian foreign policy towards the Arab region in the African continent, which are the political, intellectual, economic, military and security starting points , and finally the obstacles of Iranian policy in the Arab-African region .
