Abstract

The thesis tackles the subject of "Woman's Discourse in the Noble Quran / An Analytical Linguistic Study". It addresses the occurrences of this discourse from a linguistic perspective through adopting the analytical method. The occurrences of woman's discourse in the Noble Quran reached (70) in number; in some of these occurrences the woman is the author of the discourse (addresser), in others she is the recipient (addressee)

The research plan required that the topics be divided into two chapters,  preceded by a preface and followed by a conclusion.

The preface included a number of axes, namely the statement of the term discourse in the language and terminology, then following the development of the term discourse by the ancient Arab scholars, then clarifying the term discourse in modern linguistics, and finally showing the status of woman in the linguistic heritage and the Noble Quran.

The first chapter, entitled "The Divine Discourse Directed to Woman", was dedicated to the discourse directed by Allah to woman, woman's discourse directed to Allah, i.e. supplication, and finally, woman’s discourse with the angels.

While the second chapter entitled “Human Discourse of Woman”, was devoted to woman's discourse with the prophets, woman's discourse with the husband, and then woman's discourse with the community.
