The Impact of an Instructional Program in the Development of Positive Behavior among Intermediate School Students

Abstract

The current research aims to identify the effectiveness of the guidance program in developing positive behavior of  intermediate students. The researcher adopted the experimental method to verify the hypotheses of the study. The sample of the study  was consisted of 80 students (male and female) from the intermediate class in the  district of Al_Dour/ Salah al-Din. These students  obtained the lowest grades on the positive behavior scale (2). The experimental program was used with the experimental group, while the control group was not exposed to the guidance program, and the researcher constructed the measure of behavior which was composed of (45) paragraphs, and the construction of the standards of a number of scientific steps known in the construction of standards, have achieved the characteristics of the scale of the measure (credibility and stability), and then the researcher built the guidance program according to the theory of social learning. The program was    presented to a group of specialists and found that it has an effective role in the development of positive behavior, and in light of the results of the research and conclusions, the researcher made a number of recommendations and proposals
