Abstract

     This study deals with the subject (( Endowments and gifts in Iraq During the Abasid Era )) for incorporating the importance of endowments and gifts in Islamic Arab community since they contributed in Maintaining many social customs and traditions which reflect the human values that embodied in Islamic Arab personality .


         This study includes Kinds of endowments and gifts within the period of the research. It contains what were popular among community classes such as cash money, hamlets, slaves of bondmen and bondmaids, robes of honor and clothes, jewels and perfumes, besides composed books and foods and fruit.
