Promoting Holistic Development and Diversity through the Investigation of a Wide Range of Global Cultures

Abstract

When Almighty Allah sent His Prophet Mohammed - peace  and blessings be upon him-- with the message of  Islam religion, he saved it from distortion and change, and  he prepared for this mission certain honest and courageous  men who were entrusted  to protect  it from lies and ready to sacrifice their lives for it . This trend was later known as “the Science of Men” which covers the criteria for the authenticity of prophetic hadith. Among these men was Imam Ibn Waddah al-Andalusi), may Allah be pleased with him, who was the pioneer to wave the flag of the Prophet's Hadith in Andalusia.  Hence, we gathered his opinions which are more than 100 ones in this study. To avoid prolixity, this study focuses on the one-word term used by him.  They are forty in which he used the term “reliable” , compared it with other scientists in this field to show whether he agrees or disagrees with them.
