Love poetry achieves one of the functions of the poetic image. The important thing to be mentioned here is that  luxury or prosperity  and the effect of nature of Andalusian environment had a clear presence in the poetry of the Malqas. Their poetry covered all colours of love poetry. There are two types of love poetry, the traditional one and the one in which the poet writes a love poem for youth of perpetual. This kind , the second, is odd in Arab literature as it was borrowed from other cultures.
