Abstract

This paper studies Majaz (metaphor), its types and its impact on religious jurisprudential Arguments. It is known that scholars of usool (Islam principles) divide words according to their use into four types: reality, metaphor, plain and euphemism. The paper tackles Majaz (metaphor); its types and its influence on religious jurisprudential arguments.
