The International Atomic Energy Agency and its Role in Achieving the Peaceful Use of Nuclear Energy

Abstract

The International Atomic Energy Agency is regarded as one of the international organizations that is working in the frame of United Nations for achieving development and growth as well as ensuring  the peaceful use of atomic technology  for serving humanity . Energy is considered the basic Economical and social motor of development . The International Atomic Energy Agency has a great role in planning power especially when the world starts to realize the need to develop a legal mechanism to face the negative and over use of atomic power . Besides , the urgent needs of states were the motive behind adopting some projects which  rely heavily on the atomic Techniques .


The role of the agency was to present the services to facilitate the peaceful use of atomic energy and to encourage  information exchange and experiences of relation , experts training processes in this domain .


The Agency is regarded the responsible of the different atomic projects by preventing the spread of atomic weapons for most of the states prefer  to obtain and own the atomic weapons by setting a number of constraints to control that problem and put it under international strict watch .
