The Positions of the Arab Gulf States on the Israeli Aggression on Southern Lebanon 15-19 March, 1978

Abstract

The research studies the Israeli invasion of south Lebanon in the period 15 – 19 March,1978 and the Arab- Gulf States attitudes toward it .This research tackles the preparation objectives of the invasion and the beginning of the military operation against the Lebanese Landis, as well as the Arab-Gulf  states attitudes towards the invasion which revealed the condemnation of the invasion against Lebanon . The Arab – Gulf states practiced a unified political attitude represented by urging the powerful countries especially the United States of America in the sake of obliging Israel to stop the invasion and withdraw its forces from the Lebanese Lands. The Arab–Gulf  States attitude was also represented by the financial, medical and food  support for the peoples of Lebanon and Palestine.
