The Role of Technical Activities in Promoting Positive Behavior for Primary School Students

Abstract

The aim of the research is to identify the role of artistic activities in promoting positive behavior among primary school students.The researcher used the semi-experimental method. The research community consisted of primary school pupils in Baghdad's third Rusafa school. A sample of them was formed from (50) male and female students. The researcher prepared an exploratory study of the technical activities that could be implemented with the students, (5), and then (5) technical activities were designed to be applied to the students. After that, the positive behavior reinforcement card, which consisted of three dimensions and (15) positive behavior, was set up with a triple scale and a percentage weight of 3 degrees.The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences in favor of the research sample, which used the artistic activities to enhance their positive behavior. The researcher recommended the necessity of using artistic activities on a continuous basis in teaching the art of education for all grades in primary school , as the researcher to conduct studies to complement the current research, including building a program using artistic activities to promote positive behavior, and study the impact of the use of artistic activities in the development artistic skills, artistic taste and the direction towards art education.
