THE ROLE OF SOCIAL SERVICE IN CONFRONTING THE PHENOMENA OF STREET LOOSE CHILDREN AND HOW TO STOP IT: An Analytical Study in the City of Mosul

Abstract

Taking care of children represents one of the basic aspects all over the world. Since happy childhood is a corner stone in the structure of the personality, it accords with the people around him, who contribute in affecting his way of life, whether it is positive or negative.

This research deals with the problem of streets children. It is an attempt to recognize its reasons and to present solutions that may help to stop it. It studies the condition of the streets children in the light of previous studies by scholars and researchers, and bases on field surveying. First, we have to understand it and try to find out a suitable solution for it to let this kind of children can adapt themselves with life and their family as well as the people around them because the phenomena of homelessness leads to numerous social and psychological problems.

The research reaches many results, upon which recommendations are presented in order to solve this problem.
