Abstract

The historical recording went through two phases: the first phase is the historical oral record that remained in prophet until the beginning of the second century of immigration, because of the martyrdom of some of the preservation of history in the battles, turning from oral historical recording to historical editionaly writing for fear of losing a large part of historical narratives.

This transition was accompanied by a number of factors, including the Hijri calendar, which emerged during the peried of the Caliph al-Rashidi Omar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) (13-23) and followed by historians who preserved history with all its bright pages
