Analyzing the properties of running of pool of valley of Al-hamdinia by using (SCS-CN)way
Abstract
The search study the hydrological characteristics of Al-Hamdania vally basin, which pouring into the Tigris river in Nineveh, with area reached (533,3 km2). To understand the hydrology of water valleys and to calculate their running features, the study adopted the curve number model (SCS - CN), to arrive at specific results ,and the used of remote sensing and (GIS) in the procedures the work related to study, through the data has been emerged in one perfect fra (DEM – soil – rain depth – land uses) me using (CN) method to get running features for the investigated basin valleys such as (Q) and (QV) and (QP) values inside geographical information systems environment.The study found out that the vally basin investigated is very important from the hydrological side; this is attributed to the high values (CN) r which reached r (83.8), AL Mur (82.7), Baghal (82.2), Khair almala (84,5) , whil the depth flow average (Q) reached (214,5)ml , as for the size of runoff (QV) reached (77580244) m3, , whil the depth flow average (Qp) reached (100) m3/sc , these results are database for any study hydrological intended for purposses of development. tool
